VIP maintains a comprehensive, accurate and truly independent used vehicle valuation database for more than 30,000 vehicles. The data is updated daily based on feedback from manufacturers, the trade, dealers, auctions and the leasing industry. VIP has provided data for Wisebuyers, Virgin and Used Car Buyer for over three years. In October 2005 VIP launched Trader Guide - a trade only used valuation publication rivalling Glass’s Guide and Black Book. In November 2005 VIP agreed to supply data to the What Car group, including current values, future values, editorial, opinion and price indices data. In May 2007 HPI launched a valuation service powered by VIP data. In June 2007 VIP acquired the rights to Henleyautodata, to provide future residual value data to fleets, dealers and manufacturers.
